Itinerary overview
- Day 1: Arrive Tanzania, private transfer to hotel; unwind.
- Day 2: Drive to Lake Natron region, trek to Lengai base camp.
- Day 3: Pre-dawn summit push to Ol Doinyo Lengai, descend.
- Day 4: Transfer to hotel in Arusha or Safari extension with us.
- Day 5: Depart Tanzania or book safari extension.
Inclusions & exclusions
Our Lengai rates are designed to be fully inclusive, making your experience seamless from Arusha to Lake Natron and back.
The package includes:
- All transfers as mentioned, including private transport between Arusha and the Lake Natron region.
- Accommodation/logistics as outlined in your itinerary.
- Meals as specified during the climb, plus drinking water.
During your Lengai experience, you will enjoy:

- Safety support including a basic first aid kit (and emergency oxygen if required).

What’s Not Included
To give you flexibility, the following items are not included in our Lengai rates:
- International and domestic airfare tickets.
- Optional activities and tours (e.g., safaris after your climb).
- Visas, airport taxes, and travel documentation.
- Health, travel, and cancellation insurance.
- Personal gear (such as trekking poles, sleeping bags, duffel bags, and clothing).
- Bottled water and other beverages outside the included services.
- Tips, alcoholic beverages, and personal expenses.
